I work with clients to provide a safe space to express their concerns and teach them coping strategies to use outside therapy. Counselling Services for Individuals, Couples & Teens

  • Individual counselling services allows clients to have one-on-one interaction with therapist addressing their emotional, behavioral, or psychological issues. It involves a collaborative process between the therapist and the client, where the therapist uses evidence-based techniques to help the client gain insight, develop coping strategies, and improve their overall well-being. The therapist may use a variety of approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, or humanistic therapy, depending on the client's specific needs and goals. Individual therapy can help people with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship problems.

  • Couple counselling helps strengthen the emotional connection with your partner and shift the unhelpful interactive patterns that contribute to communication difficulties. The goals of couple/ relationship counselling may include improving communication, increasing emotional intimacy, addressing and resolving conflicts, enhancing the overall quality of the relationship, and promoting greater understanding and empathy between partners.

  • Teen counselling is a form of therapy that helps teenagers navigate the challenges of adolescence and address issues of emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges. The therapist may use a variety of techniques and interventions, such as talk therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, or play therapy. Teen therapy can be beneficial for young people who are experiencing a range of challenges, such as stress, anxiety, depression, family issues, academic struggles, or difficulties adjusting to changes.
